*This shampoo bar is great for greasy or oily hair as it contains Lemon Grass Essential Oil, which not only has a gorgeous refreshing and revitalising aroma, but as it is a natural astringent it will also gently cleanse away any excess oil on your hair and scalp, leaving you with clean, soft and shiny hair.

*This shampoo bar also contains kaolin clay to absorb excess oils from the scalp and hair.

SHAMPOO BAR DIRECTIONS: Just rub the shampoo bar directly onto your wet hair, and gently massage the hair & scalp to form a rich lather. Rinse your hair thoroughly, and be sure to allow your bar to dry completely between uses. That’s it!

 

STORING TIP: To optimize your bar’s life, store on a dry surface that drains well and let the bars air dry.

*Packed with wonderful hair loving ingredients – this shampoo bar is made with:
-Sodium Cocoyl Isethioniate, made from coconuts, it creates a lovely feel during use and leaves hair feeling clean and soft.

-Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (Slsa), must not be confused with (Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLS) as it’s completely different. It can be confusing as they sounds similar but SLS is a cheap,harsh foaming sulphate (bad!) whilst SLSA is a mild and safe cleanser made from Coconut and Eco Friendly RSPO Palm oils, and is of 100% natural origin (good!).

-Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a very mild surfactant (cleanser) which gently washes your hair with a luxurious foam. It is made from coconut oil.

-Decyl Glucoside is a gentle non-ionic surfactant made from coconut oil and sugar.
-Panthenol – also known as Pro-vitamin B5, it improves hair elasticity, shine, moisture retention and flexibility.
-Wheat Protein – helps to thicken and add volume to hair, as well as adding shine and also having hair repairing properties.
-Jojoba Oil: Jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax rather than a butter, but it’s lightweight and non-greasy, making it an excellent choice for oily hair. Jojoba oil closely resembles the natural sebum produced by the scalp, making it effective at balancing oil production and providing moisture without clogging pores.

Grapeseed Oil: Grapeseed oil is another lightweight oil that is easily absorbed by the hair and scalp. It’s high in linoleic acid, which helps regulate sebum production and can be beneficial for oily hair.

BTMS 25  is a cationic (positively charged) emulsifying wax. Because it’s cationic it is also “conditioning”—it adsorbs (creates a very fine coating) on skin and hair, giving an amazing finish that is unique to cationic ingredients.

All Shampoo bars are made with gentle surfactants (cleansers), and they are not soap!  A pH-balanced shampoo bar has a pH range of 4.5 – 5.5. It is gentler on the hair follicles and scalp. In our formulation, we pair two surfactants to create a mild cleansing effect that leaves the scalp clean.

If you have longer or thicker hair, you may find that you go through the shampoo bar more quickly, as you’ll need to use more product per wash to adequately cover and cleanse your hair. Conversely, if you have shorter or thinner hair, you may find that the shampoo bar lasts longer since you’ll need less product each time you wash.

Proper storage of the shampoo bar can also affect its longevity. To ensure that your shampoo bar lasts as long as possible, it’s essential to keep it dry between uses. Store it in a well-drained soap dish or on a soap saver to allow excess water to drain away and prevent the bar from becoming soft and mushy.
