If you keep it in its silk bag and wash your hair/body through it. whatever breaks off will be saved and you can use it to it’s very end.

Some pieces fell off the first and second times I used it, and I was concerned, but then it stopped. I actually use it as a body soap because most commercial body soaps contain animal fat that clog up my drains. This one doesn’t.
